Who are we?

We are a friendly, cheerful, work-hard/play-harder team of software engineers, doing all the non-C/C++ work (Python is our language of choice, but we can do TypeScript, Kotlin, Groovy, Ruby and more) in a group of elite C/C++ software engineers, doing hardcore stuff like binary instrumentation, architectural and microarchitectural simulation software, for both internal and external (outside Intel) usage. Some of our partners and customers are software developers, but some are hardware engineers like Intel CPU Architects developing cutting-edge hardware design for future generations of Intel products, so you'll get insights into that fascinating world too and it will most definitely enrich your experience in the industry.

What are you going to do?

- Develop and maintain high-pace, high-volume continuous integration solutions for super-heavy, super-accurate microarchitectural simulation software for modeling future generations of Intel hardware products.

- Keep up with modern software development practices and leverage best available tools and methods to provide a robust, stable environment for effective development cycle of such a critical piece of Intel software.

- Handle distributed flows, automations, orchestrations, agents, runners, hosts, containers, clouds, scripts, recipes, DSLs, APIs, builds, caches, artifacts and such.

- Work with English-speaking partners and customers around the globe, including in US West Cost time zone.


Qualifications


Required:

- B.Sc. for Computer Science or related field.

- 5 years of experience as CI/CD/BI Engineer or related.

- Passion for orchestrating complex distributed software systems.

- Linux experience, Python experience, native build systems experience.

- Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Groovy, Kotlin, Ruby, shell scripting.

- Fluent in English (verbal and written), strong technical writing skills.

Preferred:

- Artifactory, Conan, Kerberos, Docker, K8S, Rancher, AWS, Azure, etc.

- Python enthusiasm

Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
