In this position, you will be part of the Xeon Storage Group working on storage technology.

As a software validation engineer you will:

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Actively participating in all stages of software validation lifecycle (requirements definition and analysis, test design, research, test development and execution, post-release support activities)
  • Investigate technologies and solutions which help the team achieve deliverables on the product roadmap
  • Designing, developing, enhancing, and validating various enterprise tests for user and kernel modules
  • Documenting validation specifications and requirements
  • Defining functional and non-functional requirements for software validation
  • Working closely with software developers to mentor the lower-level design and test implementation

Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:

  • BSc or higher degree in Computer Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of programming experience in object-oriented programming (preferable C#)
  • 3+ years of experience in test automation
  • 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting/diagnosing issues
  • Knowledge of test and defect management tools
  • Knowledge of general validation and automation principles
  • Working knowledge with validation automation frameworks


Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working on storage-related validation and architectures
  • Experience in working with servers and workstations

Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
