In this position, you will be part of the Xeon Storage Group working on storage technology.

As a software validation engineer you will:

You will be responsible for the following:

Actively participating in all stages of software validation lifecycle (requirements definition and analysis, test design, research, test development and execution, post-release support activities)
Investigate technologies and solutions which help the team achieve deliverables on the product roadmap
Designing, developing, enhancing, and validating various enterprise tests for user and kernel modules
Documenting validation specifications and requirements
Defining functional and non-functional requirements for software validation
Working closely with software developers to mentor the lower-level design and test implementation

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

BSc or higher degree in Computer Engineering or related field
3+ years of programming experience in object-oriented programming (preferable C#)
3+ years of experience in test automation
3+ years of experience in troubleshooting/diagnosing issues
Knowledge of test and defect management tools
Knowledge of general validation and automation principles
Working knowledge with validation automation frameworks

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience working on storage-related validation and architectures
Experience in working with servers and workstations

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
