The Compiler team within Software and Advanced Technology group at Intel has an opportunity for a Compiler Engineer working in Vectorization. This is a great opportunity to on work on cutting-edge technologies to design, develop, debug, and test compiler software and programming languages. In this role you will be working on the implementation of automatic and OpenMP-directed code vectorization for C++ and Fortran compilers. You will have an opportunity to work and collaborate with hardware engineering teams, external partners, be a member of communities developing compilers, and participate in language and standard groups.

Qualifications


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school-work/ classes/ research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering /Software Engineering/Electrical Engineering with 6+ years of experience.

  • 4+ years of experience in C/C++, object-oriented programming, data structure

  • 2+ years of experience with LLVM compiler development


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering /Software Engineering/Electrical Engineering

  • Experience with vectorization and parallel programming models such as OpenMP, or SYCL

  • Experience analyzing and optimizing software performance.

Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
