Seeking a skillful, innovative software engineer to join a dynamic team to join the development of a software infrastructure to simulate, project, and provide new insights for modern workloads optimization for future computer systems. The position requires a good understanding on computer architecture, cloud computing, execution- and event-driven simulation techniques, as well as hardware-software co-optimization.

Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications: Fluent in C/C++/Python, multithreaded performance, software development and debugging. In-depth knowledge on computer system architecture and cloud computing, service-oriented architecture, fundamentals. In-depth knowledge on performance modeling. Great communication skills to create and contribute to technical documents. What we additionally value: Programming framework: Dockers, Kubernetes, PyTorch, OneAPI, Jupyter Notebook, etc. Experiences in performance modeling and workload characterization and analysis, in particular, modern machine learning models. Knowledge in system level design, distributed computing, interprocess communication, interconnection network, client-server architecture, and microarchitectures. Experiences in x86-based instruction set architectures.

Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
