Job Description


We are looking for passionate individuals to help define and build the next generation of highly efficient GPU architectures for AI and HPC for Intel.

Looking for a promising engineer with potential to grow into software architecture role. The role includes but not limited to:

  • Developing new emerging AI workloads for next generation GPU compute platform
  • Workload analysis and performance debug to identify bottlenecks and drive resolution through hardware and/or software fixes.
  • Develop highly optimized GPU kernels and software stack and work with partner teams to help deliver high performant solutions.
  • Assess new SW/HW innovations and drive the most relevant into the GPU Architecture definition.

Qualifications


Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • MS or PhD in CS, EE or Mathematics with 2-3 years of experience in GPU/CPU Architecture for AI workloads.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge/Experience in OpenCL/CUDA/Metal/Sycl or other such parallel programming APIs.
  • Experience/Knowledge in Machine Learning/Deep Learning and experience with frameworks like Pytorch, or similar desirable.
  • Experience in building analytical and/or simulation-based performance models and in Performance Analysis/Perf Debug is a plus.
  • Being familiar with MLIR compiler or Triton compiler is a big plus.
  • Should have an aptitude to learn new things quickly in this fast-changing domain and flexibility to work on any mix of the above roles as needed.

Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
