Who We Are

The CGAI architecture group is focused on execution in strategic growth areas of GPU-accelerated AI and graphics for Intel. The group is chartered with delivering solutions for integrated and discrete graphics segments across client, enterprise, and datacenter, as well as high-performance computing (HPC).

Who You Are

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Work with a global team of SoC and perf/power architects to deliver power efficient products.

  • Responsible for helping to define methodology for both power and performance modeling.

  • Close collaboration with architecture and product teams

  • Drive resolution of issues with IP and SoC development teams to meet schedule and quality.

Qualifications


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar STEM degree with 3+ years' relevant industry experience, or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar STEM degree with 2+ years' relevant industry experience, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar STEM degree with 1+ year relevant industry experience.

Relevant coursework/experience will include: 

  • Programming and debugging experience in C++ or System C

  • Scripting languages such as but not limited to Python, Perl or Ruby

  • In-depth knowledge of Computer Architecture

  • GPU compute/3D graphics/Memory Subsystem,/Fabric/PCIE/Display


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in performance modelling/analysis and Simulator development is desirable.

  • Familiarity with ASIC design flow, validation concepts, coverage, etc. is desirable.

  • Good understanding of SoC and IP architectures, software/hardware development, performance and power modeling, IP integration, DV and constraints.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $106,231.00-$159,109.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
