You will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

  • Develop and/or validate software that enables Intel GPUs.

  • Scope can span the entire stack, from firmware and device drivers through APIs and the application layer, and may also include the tools, infrastructure, usage model and technologies necessary to develop, profile, optimize, and productize Intel GPUs or graphics/GPGPU software solutions.


Qualifications


This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or similar STEM degree with 6+ years of experience listed below. Or a Master's degree in the same fields with 4+ years of experience listed below.

  • Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux/Android OS, Chrome OS architectures.

  • Deep understanding of Intel x86 CPU and GPU hardware architecture.

  • Strong knowledge of kernel low-level software development is critical, C, C++.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of graphics hardware and software design.

  • Understanding of industry standard API's and frameworks such as DirectX, OpenGL, OpenCL, Vulkan, and Display Interface like DP, HDMI, MIPI, etc.

  • Client Graphics experience in terms of platforms, scale out and orchestration and E2E solution.

  • Demonstrated software and silicon debug knowledge.

  • Knowledge of PnP (Power and Performance), Silicon Design, and Open-source Environmental Operations.

  • Knowledge of AI and AI at scale.

  • Understanding of Windows OS Graphics 3D, Media, Compute or Display driver stack.

  • Expertise in Deep Learning or AI Frameworks like Tensorflow, Pytorch, OpenVino, DirectML, etc.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $144,501.00-$217,311.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
