Job Description

We focus on ensuring that software works flawlessly with computer chips. Our job involves testing software tools that unlock the full potential of chips in devices, covering a wide range of technologies like CPUs, GPUs, and more. We work across various tech fields such as security, AI, and graphics to make sure these tools perform well, are secure, and reliable. From the beginning stages of planning tests to executing them and integrating the software with different devices, we handle the entire testing process. We collaborate closely with both the software developers and the chip designers to identify any issues and optimize performance. Additionally, we support teams facing our customers by providing expert advice on software issues. Our role is crucial in the tech development cycle, ensuring that the software not only meets design specifications but also user needs and industry standards.

Qualifications

Honours degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Computer Science.

3+ years' work experience in Linux application validation or development. Excellent knowledge of C/C++ programming, especially in developing multi-core or multi-threaded software. Strong knowledge of Linux operating system. Great if have Python and Jenkins experience.

Have work experience on security or data compression-related applications/frameworks/Libraries: OpenSSL/Nginx/RocksDB/ZSTD. Strong problem-solving skills coupled with a strong aptitude to learn and self-motivated. Effective communications. Discipline and maturity to develop/validate quality deliverables at all software development life cycle stages. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a multisite team. Track record of innovation and continuous improvement.

The few or all from the following skills would be an advantage:

Knowledge of TLS, QUIC and network security protocols.
Familiar with Crypto algorithms (RSA, ECDH, AES, DES, ect.) or data compression algorithms (DEFLATE, ZSTD, etc.). Hands-on experience on OpenSSL, Nginx and network security frameworks Hands-on experience on compression library, like zlib or ZSTD . Open-Source Software Development. Experience in optimizing software for performance, scalability, security. Networking technologies and protocol stacks e.g. Ethernet, TCP/IP, IPSec. Virtualization technologies e.g. KVM, XEN, QEMU, VMWARE and developing in a virtualized environment. Agile Software development methodology experience. Source control management tools e.g. GIT. Experience with quality assurance tools e.g. Gerrit. Experience of working in a multi-geo environment. Experience of interacting with Customers. Software configuration management and release planning.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
