Job Description

As an Intel Process Engineer, you will join the Intel New Mexico team where you will be instrumental in developing and ramping some of Intel's advanced packaging and logic technologies such as: Embedded bridge, Photonics, Foveros and Foundry products.

As a Process engineering responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for qualifying and sustaining manufacturing process and equipment.
- Transfers process to high volume manufacturing and provide support in new factory start-up as well as install and qualification of the new production lines
- Identify opportunities for productivity improvements (cost reduction, run rate etc), process stability, reliability, quality and safety.
- Supports and improves process control/quality systems such as SPC, FDC and APC
- Partner with stakeholders both internal and to identify process/equipment gaps, formulate and execute plans to close gaps
- Ability to work scheduled shifts to support 24X7 high volume manufacturing required for business needs

Full time onsite required during training, estimated 6 months but is toolset dependent.
After training: hybrid-work from home-to be defined by manager and employee but continued onsite will be required. Full time remote is not an option.
This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
Relocation assistance provided.
Shifts Available: 4, and 6
Shift duration: 12 hours
- Shift 4: (nights frontend) PM-AM Sun-Tues and alternating Saturday night (7pm-7am)
- Shift 6: (nights backend) PM-AM Wed-Fri and alternating Saturday night (7pm-7am)
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Requirements:
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or related field of study.
- This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Preferred qualifications:
- 1+ year(s) experience in the semiconductor environment. Experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, military training and/or work experience.
- Knowledge of statistics and experimental design; and the skills to apply that knowledge to tool matching, tool qualification, and process development.

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
