Communications Specialist
Job Description
In Q4 2023, Intel® announced Altera® will be reported as a separate business unit beginning on January 1, 2024, with ongoing support from Intel. This position is associated to that standalone business strategy and is expected to fully transition to a standalone company at some time in the future. This will give Altera® the autonomy and flexibility it needs to fully accelerate its growth and more effectively compete in the FPGA industry, which serves a broad array of markets, including the data center, communications, industrial, automotive, aerospace and defense sectors.
Job Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and administer communications programs that support the C-suite and aligns with Altera® 's vision, mission, and values.
Create and review materials intended for internal use, such as org announcements, newsletters, memos, videos, and presentations, ensuring that they are accurate, clear, consistent, and compliant with Altera® 's communications policies and standards.
Manage and update the Altera® 's internal web presence and SharePoint site, ensuring that the content is relevant, accurate, and engaging for the target audience.
Partner with other communication teams and business units to select the most appropriate methods and channels to deliver integrated communications to various internal audiences.
Act as an internal expert and a program/project specialist, representing the corporation to internal and external groups, agencies, and vendors.
Develop solutions to business communications problems using your formal education, industry knowledge, business understanding, and judgment.
Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communications programs and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement.
Stay updated on the latest trends, best practices, and technologies in the communications field and apply them to your work.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, web development tools, SharePoint, video production/editing and other communication tools, and platforms.

Qualifications
This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in communications, media, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in marketing or communications-related fields in a corporate environment.
Experience working in a medium- to large corporation environment in advertising, television, marketing agencies or public relations agencies.
Direct experience shooting video, producing content, editing media production tools (After Effects and Premiere Pro).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Web development or SharePoint (i.e. java).
