At Intel, we create world-changing technology that enriches the lives of every person on earth. As a Foundry Product Engineer your responsibilities may include but not be limited to: 

  • Leading device performance enhancement efforts tailored for HPC (High-Performance Computing) applications across advanced nodes, with emphasis on nanosheet processes. 

  • Conducting evaluations of external foundry technologies to ensure transistor device matching optimized for HPC requirements. Identifying silicon gaps in SPICE (Simulation Program with Integrated Circuit Emphasis) models critical to HPC workloads. 

  • Assessing process and manufacturing windows to ensure robust process capability for HPC device performance. 

  • Coordinating NPI (New Product Introduction) to support internal customers, ensuring seamless product tape-in and silicon delivery.

  • Lot analytics including lot tracking, disposition and risk management to meet sample delivery.

  • Evaluate product yield window (eg. device skew, PWC, DOE analysis, kappa, parametric analysis) and drive CIPs to meet sort yield targets

  • Collaborate with internal test team to bring up test coverage and minimize test instabilities/overkill.

  • Analyze FT/Class test failures and work with business units to improve quality and cost saving.

  • This role requires close collaboration with global teams across different time zones and active participation in cross-functional project efforts, including design enablement, advanced packaging development, quality/reliability, and post-silicon validation teams focused on HPC solutions.

  • You will collaborate closely with external foundries, driving best results by setting up expectations, tracking actions, managing and resolving technical issues.

  • This role also involves traveling to work with foundry suppliers and Intel experts to create, develop, and sustain a collaborative relationship with our strategic and key manufacturing partners.

Qualifications

  • Engineer with a master's degree in electronic engineering, physics, or material science

  • 8 years in the semiconductor industry

  • 5 years of experience in advanced CMOS device engineering or device modeling or process integration or product engineering

  • Innovative mindset with attention to detail to identify and drive technology/process improvement and solutions
