Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • developing post-Si validation test plans and test scenarios to prove the correctness of the design.
  • developing of components for a emulation-based environment: bus functional models, trackers, checkers, scoreboards, and testbenches.
  • performing and debugging digital emulations-post Si and driving to closure of bugs.
  • developing of functional coverage and achieving coverage goals.
  • working closely with debugging WW teams, design engineers, micro-architects, and other team members to ensure high quality of test plans, functional coverage, debugs, and tests.
  • delivering high-quality output against deadlines and able to work effectively in a cross-site team environment.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications, you must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in the following areas:
    • digital design, ASIC design flow and computer architecture.
    • programming/scripting languages such as C/C++, Python, and Unix (Linux).
    • Debug and emulation environments.
    • Post-silicon validation tools and techniques, including JTAG, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and protocol analyzers.
  • Advanced English level.
  • Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Mexico (the position is in Mexico; it is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship).

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in hardware description languages (HDLs) such as Verilog or VHDL.
  • Functional coverage concepts and implementation.
  • Basic testbench development and test scenarios writing.Knowledge of Perl and Ruby.

Working Model
