Analog Validation Engineer

Job Description
  • Develop and implement electrical validation strategy for CPU power delivery interfaces
  • Perform Si and platform debug to root cause issue and enable robust design fixes
  • Work with hardware/BIOS/HVM functional teams on implementations and recommend solutions
  • Develop validation script with Si DFX features and platform hooks
  • Use standard lab equipment for measurement and characterization, automate test systems to complete EV execution
  • Interact with cross functional teams to provide electrical health assessment Design, KIT, Pre-Si Validation, HVM test and others as part of the whole EV process

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Must have a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering Must have good knowledge of signal integrity and power delivery circuits of CPU Experienced with all levels of DC/AC measurements analysis and demonstrate knowledge of Intel system architecture Minimum 2 year experience in mixed signal validation, RTL design and/or scripting in pre or post Si environment Minimum 2 year experience with software development , demonstrate proficiency with Python, C/C++ Minimum 2 year experience with hardware lab with test equipment, computer systems, and/or test stations Good knowledge of power delivery hardware or package design including schematic capturing and layout design is a plus Good knowledge in static and dynamic power consumption measurement, benchmark, OS, driver and system analysis related to power consumption is a plus
