Who We Are Intel's Game DevTech Engineers work at the bleeding edge of developing and optimizing new technologies on Intel's GPUs, CPUs, and other platform components. They work directly with leading game and game engine developers to create innovative solutions and technology showcases. They are part of a global yet tightly knit team, with a diversity of skills and experience, working to make games the best they can be on Intel hardware. Who You Are Work with third party game developers to optimize their games, implement new features, and address any functional issues on Intel platforms, including integrated and discrete GPUs and CPUs Develop sample code, documentation, presentations, and other materials to illustrate best practices on Intel platforms. Work with graphics driver, compiler, and performance engineers to debug issues and obtain optimal results. Self-motivated and able to work independently.Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related STEM degree plus 4+ years industry experience in:
C/C++ programming
Performance profiling and optimization on the GPU and/or CPU
DirectX 12, and/or Vulkan
Writing and/or optimizing shaders or graphics techniques
Experience working as a game developer, graphics programmer, or closely related position.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with modern processor architecture, including CPU, GPU, memory sub-system and other components.
Microsoft Windows architecture and how it can impact performance.
Multi-threading experience
Experience in using Unreal Engine
Experience with ISPC
SIMD assembly, vectorization, and optimization
Direct customer interaction experience
Familiarity with Intel tools such as (GPA) Graphics Performance Analyzer or VTune
Experience using graphics tools such as Renderdoc or PIX

Working Model
This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.Posting End Date
