AI Software Development Engineer
Job Description
We are looking for new colleagues that want to work in the AI field and work on multiple levels of the software stack. We are a team tasked with the general discipline of system debug. We work from the lower levels of device firmware, up through driver layer, operating systems, applications, test environments and target environments. Collaborating with multiple teams in and around the organization to solve difficult and complex issues. Problems occur everywhere in the stack, and our job is to help with finding the solutions, swimming through a multitude of tools, concepts and data.
A System debug engineer has the following responsibilities:
- Conduct investigations on complex issues raised on products in development
- Learn about and around the HW and SW to help the organization prevent issues from happening
- Collect data and develop investigation methods inside the product scope
- Collaborate with the teams inside the organization to expand or simplify existing knowledge
- Review any kind of documentation, requirements, source code, framework, tool or validation method which might be needed for an ongoing investigation
- If needed, coordinate teams of specialized individuals around complex issues that need a resolution.
Qualifications
- Bachelors/Masters in Electronic Engineering /Computer Science or equivalent
- Strong C and C++ programming skills and knowledge of microprocessor/microcontroller architectures.
- Experience of embedded systems
- Understanding of multithreading and multithreaded application design
- Ability to create software designs based on architecture and requirements
- Good problem-solving skills and debug capabilities
- Good communication skills and teamwork
- Spoken and written English: upper-intermediate level or advanced
Nice-to-Have's:
-Experience with source control and code reviews
- Experience with agile software development
- Experience with pre-silicon software development using simulators and FPGA
- Experience with real time operating systems
- Experience with heterogeneous architectures
- Experience of software/hardware interactions, including debug
- Understanding of modern compiler architecture and code compilation process
- General knowledge of AI and Machine Learning
- Experience with scripting / automation
- Experience with working on multiple levels of a SW stack
- General knowledge about a product in most points of its lifecycle
- Creativity and perseverance
- Quick learning
