Automated Systems Engineer

Job Description

The team develops the automatic systems used by our ODMs in Taiwan to create the Habana's AI systems. The team has knowledge in all domains of the Habana systems including the system, silicon, SW, HW, validation and production aspects. This team is responsible for the overall development of the automatic systems including their architecture, SW, and HW. Habana system team is looking for passionate SW-HW Eng. with strong SW orientation to drive Habana's next HW generation into successful mass production and deployment in the real-world. The position requires solid experience and expertise in software development combined with passion to engage with system\HW validation, debugging and analysis. As part of your role, you will: Integrate HW and SW for high end AI systems Develop and enhance Habana's validation software framework for system\HW validation Bring up new chips/systems tests in production line and lab Support system production line in the east Define and run chip and system validation test plans, in chip lever and full server level Develop tests and automation Write Python scripts for bring up and system tests Collaborate with your peers in the architecture, SW, VLSI and HW and production line teams. Debug system HW/SW issues The responsibilities also include a significant role in execution, debugging and analysis of System\HW\FW\SW at Habana's labs, manufacturing facilities and customers.

Qualifications

Over 5 years of hands-on experience in System\HW\FW\SW, preferably from Integrated circuit companies Deep understanding in Linux, Python, I2c, UART and PCIe as advantage Experience with all standard lab equipment (scopes, logic analyzer etc.). Hands on experience in boards schematic/layout reading, boards bring up and debug Perfect communication skills and high motivation Fast learner Background in AI, PCIe, DDR4 and High speed serdes - Advantage

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
