The cloud development division within Software and Advanced Technology Group (SATG) is developing and shaping the way people think about computing by focusing on developers, ecosystem partners, academia etc. We are redefining the space with cutting-edge software technologies along with the industry leading CPUs, GPUs, IPUs, and FPGAs. We are looking to hire a Cloud Engineer that has:
Hands-on work experience in Site Reliability and Software Engineering - particularly working with cloud systems, networking, distributed systems, or data processing frameworks and knows principles of Public Cloud infrastructure.
Demonstrated willingness to script or code to deploy and automate cloud infrastructure with languages like Ruby, Scala, Python or Bash and is comfortable digging into other people's source code to search for the root cause of a problem.
Strong background with Ansible or any other configuration management system tools like Puppet, Terraform, etc.
Demonstrates knowledge of security standards and compliances.
Has willingness to participate in on-call rotation to troubleshoot issues on production and provide hot fixes.
An ideal candidate would exhibit behavioral traits that indicate excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills, strong communication, and analytical and troubleshooting skills.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer/ Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related technical discipline and 6+ years of experience -OR- a Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related technical discipline and 4+ years of experience in:
2+ years' experience configuring monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana
2+ years' experience Data Center Automation (Ironic)
Software development (Python, Ruby, Go, etc.)
2+ years' experience Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Jenkins, Git, Jira, Terraform, ArgoCD, K8S)
2+ years' experience Kubernetes
Remote deployment and administration of Linux servers
Cloud technologies
Experience running a highly visible, 24x7 mission critical service using SRE and DevOps practice
Preferred Qualifications
Experience running serverless infrastructure
GIT and parallel development, branching strategies and methodologies including CI/CD
Open-source projects

Working Model
