Sample Prep Engineer

Job Description

The Sample Prep Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Support sample preparation, new-gen sample prep technology and capability development through innovation and collaboration with internal and external developers/suppliers.
• Sound knowledge on Chemicals and its properties.
• Must be able to handle different types of tools/machines to close a task.
• Close interaction and communication with other partner teams would be required in accomplishing results.
• Work with minimum supervision and strategic direction.
• Must be able to demonstrate ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, advance level problem solving, and work in team environment.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree or Master in Electrical / Electronics engineering and / or Material Science with at least 2 years of relevant experience in semiconductor industry.
• Fundamental knowledge of advance CMOS-VLSI circuits, electronics, device physics and manufacturing process flows.
• Ability to read circuit schematics and layout.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experienced in sample preparation process and IC assembly flow.
• Knowledge in IC packaging technologies.
• Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
