AMHS Controls Software Analyst
Job Description
Come join the TDATA Automated Material Handling (AMHS) team as a Software Controls Analyst. This team is responsible for the software controls and data analytics to optimize material flow in our semiconductor factories worldwide. As a senior team member and technical leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the definition, vision, design, roadmap, and development of product features from beginning to end.
We have need spanning software resiliency, factory optimization, new equipment development, and supporting D1 factory sustaining and operations. Areas of responsibility may include:
- AMAT MCS system ownership including supplier engagement and roadmap management.
- Unix scripting
- Factory control system modeling
- Building the framework to advance equipment system intelligence, including proposals and development of data analytics and associated data pipelines
- Automation system integration and AMHS equipment optimization to maximize factory output
- Development and implementation of proposals to improve software resiliency
This position may require some travel, including international, but very infrequent.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 6+ years in SW design/development/validation
- 4+ years of experience in data analytics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluent with Microsoft Excel, and other MS Office products (PowerPoint, Word, Project, etc.)
- Strong problem solving, analytical thinking, project management skills, strong team leadership skills, ability to multi-task several projects/issues at a time, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Individual should display high tolerance for continuous changing environment.
- 10+ years of software development experience; 2+ years of leading a team of solid technical personnel
- 10+ years of experience with Automation systems.
- Experience working with UNIX applications and shell scripting (Perl is a plus)
- Familiarity with a variety of languages: SQL, Python, Labview
- System architecture, control/material flow systems, networking familiarity and DevOps cycle familiarity is a plus.
- AMHS system experience
- Understanding of ML/AI algorithms at a base level
