Job Description
Drives the development and execution of product qualification strategies and plans and adherence to release criteria.
Performs risk assessments, defines quality and reliability goals, and enables key decisions that affect product quality and reliability.
Augments or modifies existing release criteria for new designs and form factors as required.
Contributes to design, development, and validation of component, board, and/or systems and the development and implementation of manufacturing test processes.
Supports testability circuits, test flows, and methodologies for new products through evaluation, development, and debug of complex test methods.
Interfaces with process development, fab, factory, assembly, manufacturing groups, and outsource partners to ensure quality and reliability.
Analyzes and evaluates component and system specifications to ensure optimal match of components, system requirements, and test capabilities with specific emphasis on quality and reliability.
Ensures manufacturability through thorough analysis of process and spec corners and works with design and manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues before manufacturing ramp.
Analyzes early customer feedback with emphasis on driving generation over generation design improvements, manufacturing improvements, and test hole closure activities.
Creates and applies concepts for optimizing component and system production relative to both quality and cost constraints.
Leads and drives readiness from fab, assembly, and test factory to support product quality execution strategy and site certification activities.
Monitors postsilicon quality results and identifies areas for improvement.
Drives implementation of learning into future product designs and manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
BSc or MSc in Electronics Eng
2 years+ in Product Development and New Product Introduction in Semiconductor.
Quality and Reliability knowledge in Product Qualification will be an advantage.
