Job Description:
We develop the leading edge of the high speed Ethernet SERDES. For maintaining the position of the first in the industry in baud rate, performance and in features-set, we are expanding our Architecture / u-Architecture team. The selected candidate will lead the SerDes features-set definition and the logic design implementation.
In Q4 2023, Intel announced Altera will be reported as a separate business unit beginning on January 1, 2024 with ongoing support from Intel. This position is associated to that standalone business strategy and is expected to fully transition to a standalone company at some time in the future.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience delivering complex, high-performance integrated solutions and leading them through mass production is required.
- Prior expertise in SerDes and PHY design and experience interfacing with communications standards and optimizing serial link chip implementations is highly valued.
- Post-silicon experience validating and refining design outputs through debugging is strongly preferred.
- Additional experience with system architecture design and knowledge in digital signal processing techniques is an advantage.
