Sr Data Quality Advisor
Job Description
The Sr. Data Quality Advisor will enable the enterprise to make better business decisions by leveraging data quality and analysis tools and techniques such as data discovery/exploration, ad hoc database queries, scripting, mathematics, and statistics. This role involves deep diving into the data to draw conclusions from business data to describe, predict, and improve business data quality measurements.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Utilize data analysis tools techniques to support business decision-making and improve business data quality performance.
- Act as a technical liaison between business and technical teams, gathering and decomposing business quality controls and data requirements into control specifications and technical requirements.
- Evaluate master and transaction data systems (e.g., MDM, SAP, Azure) for data quality gap analysis and risk assessments, and monitor data quality performance.
- Support data cleansing and conversion data extractions, quality profiling and rules definition. Run data profiling reports to support cleansing and root cause analysis for data remediation.
- Apply deep expertise in mathematical and statistical analysis across teams and projects, working closely with business data steward and DQ developer teams to implement data quality solutions.
- Facilitate the development of business data quality capabilities for reporting, supporting business groups and dashboards generation.
- Develop and establish DQ standards, guidelines, procedures, and reference guides.
- Define AI DQ plan and enablement of AI data quality controls identification and production readiness.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of experience, or Master’s Degree with 4+ years of experience, or PHD with 2+ years of experience in data science, data analytics, data engineering, or related field (computer science, information management, math, statistics).
- 4 years of experience in Data Quality and Metadata Tools, hands-on experience with capabilities to extract data for profiling reporting.
- 3+ years of experience capturing data quality control definitions

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in data governance, business dashboard design & measurements definitions, data quality, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis.

Working Model
This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
