NAND Product Development/Test/Reliability Technologist
Job Description
This job requisition is looking for multiple candidates for the positions of NAND product development technologist/ NAND Product Test Development Expert/ Product reliability development expert, who will lead/participate in the development and optimization of next generation NAND Flash memory products. Successful candidates will play a pivotal role in driving the product lifecycle from product design, technology development phase to mass production, ensuring that our product meets the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced engineers seeking to work on industry leading QLC NAND technology critical for building datacenter storage solutions in the AI era. This position is associated with the sale of Intel's NAND memory and storage business to SK. This transaction will enhance the resources and potential of the business' storage, and you will be joining a world-class team that will transition to lead the SSD business at SK group. We will keep you informed updates and steps related to this transaction. Major responsibilities for product development role: o Lead the development of NAND Flash memory products, including defining specifications, developing solutions to meet specifications, and designing validation/testing methods to ensure requirements are met. o Design and execute detailed characterization methodologies for NAND memory arrays to assess device performance, reliability, and variability. o Lead the optimization of NAND trims, waveforms, and algorithms to improve product performance, reliability, and power consumption. o Analyze system requirements to determine the impact on NAND component operating conditions and testing strategies. o Work closely with SSD engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of NAND media into the SSD through component/system co-optimization. o Drive resolution of any NAND related issues encountered during SSD qualification. o Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, process, reliability, system teams to ensure product meets requirements to achieve qualification and enable mass production ramp. Major responsibilities for product test development role: o Develop burn-in and high speed I/O test plans, procedures, and validation methodologies for NAND flash memory components. o Lead the execution of electrical testing of NAND components to validate functionality, performance, and reliability. o Analyze test data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement in product design or manufacturing processes. o Optimize test methodologies to improve test coverage, efficiency, and cycle time. o Provide technical expertise and support for yield enhancement and failure analysis activities. o Collaborate with design, process, and reliability engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex test failures. Major responsibilities for product reliability development role o Focus on new product and technology development phase product quality and reliability spec definition and ensure product meets requirement o Develop product qualification plan and drive qual execution o Lead reliability defect reduction roadmap in development phase to enable product qualification, including process resolutions, test screen methodologies or system level solutions o Develop wafer level test flows for product quality / reliability measurement to expedite the learning cycle for new product process development o Responsible for weekly reliability performance monitor and fail mode bucketing through data analysis and electrical failure analysis (EFA) o Perform process commonality analysis/data mining for top failure modes to identify process root cause and work with cross functional teams for resolutions o Perform new defect mode characterization using new acceleration methods to assure early identification of potential problems in TD phase o Lead cross functional teams to solve critical technical problems through various phase of product development, manufacturing and ramp up. o Build product physical failure modes library and adopt FMEA approach to drive continuous improvement in detection and containment o Evaluate TD phase process changes to ensure no quality/reliability impact through reliability data collection, including risk assessment, data collection plan and executionQualifications
o Master or PHD Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, Semiconductor Circuit Design, Materials Science, Physics/Chemistry or related fields
o Minimum 4 years working experience in related field, such as memory product development engineering, reliability engineering, test engineering, yield analysis, process integration or process engineering.
o Knowledge of NAND Flash memory technology
o Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with experience working in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment.
o Proven track record of technical leadership and ability to work independently.

Working Model
This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
