Business HR Manager
Job Description
Influences and partners with BU leaders and Centers of Excellence COEs to develop and execute an effective human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization.
Manages the Human Resources HR strategy including identifying, aligning, and optimizing the HR programs, processes, and services enabling business success.
Conducts 1on1 effectiveness coaching with senior leaders to improve leadership capability or the resolution of leadership gaps and coaches, mentors and or advises employees at all levels to help drive growth and development.
Provides workforce planning, organization assessment, and team management to support incremental and transformational organizational change.
Understands aligned business group intimately, effectively delivering on the HR operating plan.
Partners with relevant leadership teams to deliver against the business and people objectives, promoting a high-performance culture and serves on the staff for their aligned senior leader.
Encourages positive employee relations by using sensing tools, engaging directly with employees, and monitoring organizational health.
Coaches and develops the HR Business Partner team and sets prioritized goals and metrics to measure the growth and performance of the team.
Qualifications
10+ years of relevant experience, and minimum 4 years in a senior, regional or global HR role.
Business oriented and commercial approach to HR programs and initiatives; ability to quickly understand, connect the dots and translate business priorities into HR implications.
Knowledge of Human Resources related principles and business processes, ability to generate solutions for a wide variety of Human Resources issues.
Experience having worked in a wide spectrum of HR areas including Compensation and Benefits, Talent Acquisition and Business Partnering
Demonstrated partnership experience with sales and commercial teams
Good understanding of trends in HR, labor market and business environment across Asia and globally.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, initiative, influencing, teamwork, business partnering and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work and deliver results in a dynamic, cross-functional, cross-cultural, highly matrixed and team-oriented environment; able to build network, develop alliances and work through people.
Strong execution capability: Able to prioritize, devise action plans, negotiate for resources and support, drive collaboration and manage stakeholders to make and deliver to commitments through structured and pragmatic organizational processes.
Proven people and team management capability: Build a strong and cohesive team and inspire and develop the team to deliver world-class results.
Executive presence and influence: able to articulate an objective, principled and clear point of view to business leaders to establish personal credibility as a key member of senior business staff. Sought after by business and HR leaders for quality of insights, expertise and influence.
