Job Description

We are seeking for a dynamic individual to join our lab within the Data Center Power Solutions team in a temporary position performing Voltage Regulator (VR) testing.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Responsible for technical power/VR validation in support of power solutions engineering activities.
Conducts engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to collect data or assist in design and/or research work.
May perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment.
Assignments are semi routine in nature.
Some degree of judgment required in resolving nonstandard problems.
Normally receives general instructions on most work.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

Willing to work in a collaborative manner with a variety of different individuals in a fast paced, technical environment.
Willing to work effectively in an ambiguous environment with changing priorities.

Please consider that this is a temporary position (1 year).

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications, you must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position:

Technician or associate´s degree in Electronics, mechatronics, or similar technical discipline.

6+ months of experience in:

Platform rework, including platform and package rework/soldering/replace components. Should be expert in soldering and performing reworks.
Using oscilloscope, probes, DMM and function generator, including advanced functions.
Working, reading, and understanding schematics and board layout data bases.
Regular routine lab maintenance, equipment calibration, parts and platform tracking, platform ordering/purchase.
Intermediate English level.
Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Mexico.

Preferred qualifications, are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates:

Experience with Voltage Regulator testing.
Experience using logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer.
Experience using Excel.

Requirements listed would be obtained through a- combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
