The Graphics Software Architecture Team, is looking for you.
As aGfx and GPU System Software Development Engineeryour responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Developing software to enable specific features, capabilities, solutions, reference platforms, or Intel products.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure software compatibility and optimization with Intel's graphic processing units (GPUs).
- Utilizing Embedded Platform experience to drive software development and integration.
- Deep understanding of the graphics pipeline and leveraging this knowledge to enable and optimize performance for GPU, AI/ODML/Multimodel use cases.
- Using C++ for GPU development and demonstrating proficiency in OpenGL and/or Vulkan/Vulkan Compute for AI.
- Leveraging MESA and other relevant tools for debugging and optimizing software performance.
- Contributing to the development of reference platforms and software solutions that showcase the capabilities of Intel GPUs.
- Staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in GPU technology and software development.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum qualifications:
- Masters degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience
- Full Stack and System/Embedded Platform experience.
- Experience with graphics APIs such as OpenGL, Vulkan/Vulkan Compute for AI.
- Proficient in using the suite of tools used for debugging across the software stack.
- Strong command of C/C++ programming languages, with a proven track record of developing high-performance GPU software
Preferred qualifications:
- Extensive experience with embedded platforms, along with a comprehensive understanding of the whole stack for graphics, including pCode, firmware, and the Linux kernel.
- Familiarity with MESA or similar open-source software libraries is desirable.
- GPU AI optimizations, Cloud Gaming, Python.
- Experience in Android
