In Intel's Habana team, we develop multiple generations of AI accelerators and GPUs, designed for inference and training.
Our Tools Team is responsible for developing profiling and debugging infrastructures/tools that empower engineers to fine-tune workloads and troubleshoot issues on our AI accelerators and GPUs. These tools are critical for optimizing performance and enabling efficient debugging across diverse workloads.
In this role you will:
- Drive the design, development, and maintenance of advanced profiling and debugging tools for world leading AI accelerators and GPUs
- Lead and mentor a team of talented software engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment
- Collaborate with hardware, software, architecture, and AI framework teams to ensure seamless integration and usability of tools
- Define and prioritize features based on user feedback and performance requirements.
- Stay ahead of industry trends to introduce innovative solutions that enhance tools capabilities
Qualifications
- At least 8 years of experience with SW development
- Experience as SW team manager
- Deep understanding of performance optimization, and debugging methodologies.
- Proficiency in C++
- Familiarity with hardware-software interfaces and system-level debugging
- Knowledge and experience with SoC/DSP/microprocessor architectures and embedded development
- Experience with hardware debug and profiling tools such as JTAG, Lauterbach, CoreSight
- Versatile, dynamic fast learner with strong personal and leadership skills
- Good communication skills
