Software Validation Engineer
Job Description
In this position, you will be part of the Xeon Storage Group working on storage technology.
As a software validation engineer you will:

You will be responsible for the following:
- Actively participating in all stages of software validation lifecycle (requirements definition and analysis, test design, research, test development and execution, post-release support activities)
- Investigate technologies and solutions which help the team achieve deliverables on the product roadmap
- Designing, developing, enhancing, and validating various enterprise tests for user and kernel modules
- Documenting validation specifications and requirements
- Defining functional and non-functional requirements for software validation
- Working closely with software developers to mentor the lower-level design and test implementation
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- BSc or higher degree in Computer Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of programming experience in object-oriented programming (preferable C#)
- 3+ years of experience in test automation
- 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting/diagnosing issues
- Knowledge of test and defect management tools
- Knowledge of general validation and automation principles
- Working knowledge with validation automation frameworks
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working on storage-related validation and architectures
- Experience in working with servers and workstations
