Who We Are
Prime code Server Firmware (PSFW) team is looking for a Firmware Validation Engineer to join our team for current and next generation Server SOC Products.
Who You Are
Your responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:
Creating test environments, checker strategies, and test generators for validating embedded power management firmware in the SOC
Learning the FW architecture and related SOC architecture by debugging test failures to the root cause
Developing and utilizing various software tools and/or methodologies with the goal to ensure highly functional firmware
Communicating effectively, coordinating, and working with firmware developers and SOC integration teams
Potentially participating in the debug of failures in silicon and developing new testing strategies to detect these failures on pre-silicon models
Candidate must be willing to complete the internship program for at least 6 months.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
The candidate must be pursuing a Master's Degree or PhD Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering
Preferred Qualifications
Related technical discipline with 6+ months of relevant industry experience.
Knowledge of Embedded Firmware
Knowledge of Programming languages: C++, Python, Perl, Ruby, Object Oriented Programming Techniques
Knowledge of Computer Architecture
Verification/Validation Techniques and Methods.
Knowledge in Linux or UNIX

Working Model
This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
