Software Development Engineer
Job Description
We are a diverse team of software developers for debugging solutions in Munich and are looking for an engaged and professional C++ Software developer with Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or comparable other education/experience. As member of the Application Debugger Team you will be developing Intel specific enhancements to the GNU Debugger (GDB) for CPU and GPU. These changes will contribute to Intel's oneAPI initiative as well as being upstreamed to the Open Source version of GDB, making your work highly visible even outside of Intel. You are responsible for SW design and concepts, development, debugging, creating test cases and bug fixing. Our main development environment is Linux, but we also need to support Windows.Qualifications
Your qualifications should include:
Proficient software development expertise and experience in C++
Basics in GPU programming (OpenCL, SYCL, CUDA..)
Experience with Debuggers (preferable GDB) and compilers
Experience working with Linux and/or Windows OS development environments
Experience in software development life cycle and corresponding tools (e.g. Git, Jira, Jenkins...)
Fluent English language capability in SW scope
Good team player and communication skills
Self-education and self-development
The following qualifications would be added advantages:
Experience in commercial software engineering
Experience in open source software engineering and contribution to open source projects
Knowledge of Python
