Emulation and FPGA Engineer

Job Description

The Infrastructure Processing Unit (IPU), also known as Smart-NIC, is a PCIe-powered network interface card that significantly enhances traditional NIC capabilities by offloading tasks such as packet processing, traffic shaping, virtual switching, and more from the HOST CPU (Xeon). IPUs are the future of cloud processing and storage and are already being deployed in the data centers of the largest and most well-known cloud service providers.

About the Role: Builds emulation and FPGA models and solutions from RTL design using synthesis, partitioning, and routing tools. Develops, integrates, tests, and debugs hardware and software collateral in simulation, emulation, and FPGA models for testing new features, writes directed tests, develops the test environment and hybrid emulation environment, and supports verification of hardware and software/firmware. Defines and develops new capabilities and tools to achieve better verification through improved emulation and FPGA model usability.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Electrical Engineer with 4 years experience in RTL
• System-Level debug including Platform/SW/HW

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in PCIE and ETH
• Experience in ASIC flows (Synthesis, Timing, Simulation)
• Experience in networking protocols

Working Model
