The Company is opening an "Electronic Board design Engineer" position in its main Research and Development center ideally located in the Sophia-Antipolis Technology Park on the French Riviera.
This person drives and delivers PCB Layouts for all types of electrical boards, including flexible circuit boards and rigid boards.
Prepares layout, detailed drawings, and schematics by using computer assisted engineering design software and ECAD tools.
Defines efficient design guidelines, specifications, and best-known design methods and proposes and ideates design asks and solves design complexities.
Applies knowledge of high density-high speed, mixed, analog, digital, RF designs, rigid, and flex designs to deliver end-to-end PCB design flow, final design packages for PCB fabrication, including fabrication assembly drawings, and manages PCB documentation.
Defines component placement and trace routing rules for components and circuits on a board.
Conducts the board layout from feasibility studies to board tape-out, meeting multi-disciplinary platform-level requirements.
Collaborates with electrical design, packaging, manufacturing, thermal, and mechanical teams for continuous improvements in PCB design process.
Carries out signal and power integrity simulations for design verification to achieve high-quality PCBs.
Performs electrical, interface and functional tests. Debugs boards and implements fixes.
Support internal Product and FAE teams in adapting our reference boards to customer HW.
Provides guidance on vendors fabrication capabilities and fine tunes design for low cost and high reliability.
Qualifications
University degree in electronics engineering
Technical skills and experience:
A minimum of 10 years of experience in electronic board development.
Experienced in CAO tools for PCB design.
Experienced in PCA testing
Experienced in simulation tool
Good technical expertise in electronic products (FPGAs, microcontrollers, boards).
Knowledge of low-level software for microcontroller programming and testing software.
Good knowledge of debugging tools (JTAG box, Lauterbach debugger, etc.).
Analytical skills for debugging boards.
Good knowledge of laboratory tools (oscilloscope, power supply, multimeter, soldering, etc..)
Experience in the automotive environment and constraints is a plus.
Quality management (ISO 9001, ...).
Language skills:
Fluent in English.
French speaking is a plus.
Behavioural skills:

Demonstrate communication and teamwork skills.
