Job Description
In Q4 2023, Intel announced PSG will be reported as a separate business unit beginning on January 1, 2024 with ongoing support from Intel. This position is associated to that standalone business strategy and is expected to fully transition to a standalone company at some time in the future with a target of Jan 1, 2025.

The Director, IT Infrastructure will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's technology infrastructure, engineering tools and services, cybersecurity, and data and analytics/AI initiatives. This role requires a strategic leader who can ensure that our IT infrastructure is robust, secure, and efficiently supports our business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the design, implementation, and management of cloud services, on-premise compute and storage, and data center operations.
Lead High-Performance Computing (HPC) initiatives, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
Manage network and telecommunications infrastructure, ensuring reliability and performance.
Oversee end-user computing and collaboration tools, ensuring they meet business needs.
Direct the Help Desk team to provide excellent service and support to end-users.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and partners to optimize the performance and functionality of IT infrastructure.
Implement and manage a suite of engineering tools and services to support the product development and operations teams.
Ensure the availability and scalability of development, testing, and deployment environments.
Lead the adoption of DevOps practices and tools to enhance collaboration and efficiency.
Bring M&A experience to lead efforts for system divestiture, ensuring seamless alignment of systems and processes.
Provide thought leadership in evaluating emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of innovation.
Collaborate with business leaders to understand requirements, identify opportunities for process improvement, and align technology solutions with business goals.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT management, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure, engineering tools and services, cybersecurity, and Data and Analytics/AI.
Strong knowledge of cloud computing, HPC, network management, and data center operations.
Strong knowledge in cybersecurity frameworks and risk management.
Strong understanding of semiconductor industry processes and business requirements.
Experience in leading and managing a diverse and global IT team.
Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
Proven track record of implementing innovative technology solutions that drive business value.
