Software Engineer for Cloud Data Solutions
Job Description
Intel is looking for a highly motivated and talented Software Engineer to join our Product Development Analytics (PDA) team.
We are developing a state-of-the-art high-scale cloud-based solution, leveraging a microservices architecture to go along with managed cloud services, all towards creating a modern SaaS data lakehouse, with self service capabilities, ingestion/consumption services, and other features that help data engineers and data scientists across Intel's design teams make better data-driven decisions.
Our team deploys fast and often, having code deployed in production shortly after it was written, focusing on safety, robustness and proper architecture of our backend that will eventually handle hundreds of thousands of daily events at a fast pace.
Software engineers at PDA shape and improve our microservices architecture daily to provide a cutting-edge analytics solution. To achieve this, we use state-of-the-art technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, .NET Core, Spark, SQL and NoSQL databases, in addition to hosted solutions that Azure has to offer.

To succeed in this position, you will:
Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
Integrate applications with RESTful APIs to ensure seamless functionality
Utilize current web technologies (ASP, AngularJS, NodeJS, React, etc.).
Work on both Windows and Linux platforms, and leverage cloud services (e.g. Azure) for application deployment and management.
Implement containerization technologies (e.g. Docker) to enhance application scalability and portability.
Apply knowledge of data structures and SQL to manage and manipulate data effectively.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success.
Provide technical support for production environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
Fluency in C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, and/or .NET Core
Strong skills in integrating with RESTful APIs.
Excellent demonstrated experience using current web technologies (ASP, AngularJS, NodeJS, React, etc.).
Experience in Windows, Linux, and cloud platforms (e.g. Azure).
Experience with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker).
Working knowledge of data structures and SQL.
Ability to communicate well and work effectively in a team environment.
Bonus Qualifications:
Internship or project experience in cloud computing or data solutions.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
