Senior Facilities Electrical Engineer

In this position, you will be responsible to provide leadership, oversee, sustain, improve, and develop new Facilities operations team. Responsibilities will include own, sustain, and improve system capacity, operational troubleshooting, system upgrade evaluation and optimization. Furthermore, you will enhance performance by utilizing statistical process control methodologies, Design of Experiments and developing procedures for our systems.
- Provide projects and sustaining electrical engineering support at our facilities.
- Act as technologist for electrical distribution system.
- Modelling the electrical power system and track changes
- Troubleshooting electrical system problems, conducting breaker coordination and arc flash studies.
- Systematic problem solving, providing electrical load and capacity data.
- Delivering operational efficiency, maintenance, testing and commissioning solutions, driving capital budgets for system upgrades, providing technical leadership to Integrated Facility Management (IFM) and contractors, member of the Emergency Operations Center, responding to power outages, disturbances and leading in the recovery effort, participating in virtual task force/ mission-based team.
- Develop and write procedures to support high performance operations and experience in ensuring high reliably operations of aging electrical infrastructure.
- Some travel and occasional weekend engineering support will also be required.
Project engineering responsibilities:
- Effective collaboration with Project Managers and Project Engineers, architects, engineers, and contractors on new construction, renovation project.
- Possessing thorough knowledge of facilities low and medium voltage electrical distribution systems including transformers, low voltage substations, MCC, generators, UPS, etc. ability to review cost estimates, budgets, and ROI analysis.
- Reviewing electrical specifications, submittals, studies, design and drawings.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and issues concurrently, possess a good knowledge of the latest NEC code, NFPA 70E, UL 508a, NFPA 79 and 3rd party electrical inspections.
- Help maintain the facilities document control system by ensuring electrical as built drawings are incorporated into the master CAD drawing which also includes coordinating and overseeing work of external consultant's CAD support.
- Ensure electrical system model is up to date and all construction specifications, as built, O and M manuals and submittals are received after project close out.
Qualifications
Candidate must possess a Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering with more than 8 years of experience or related field.

- Demonstrated leader of operational excellence, including model-based problem solving, appropriate use of metrics, and strong affinity for discipline and cadence.
Preferred Qualifications.
- Experience in Advanced Semiconductor manufacturing environment with emphasis on Low and High voltage power, load flow analysis, electrical system modeling, electrical engineering specification and design, and short circuit calculations, overcurrent device coordination and electrical utility forecasting for large manufacturing facilities, system modeling, electrical engineering specification and design, and short circuit calculations, overcurrent device coordination and electrical utility forecasting for large manufacturing facilities.
- PE or Ir Registration or competence certification is highly desired.
