Data Analyst - Enterprise Data and Analytics (Finance)
Job Description
We are looking for passionate Data Analyst who will be part of Intel's Global IT Corporate Data and Insights group. You will be part of an Agile Persistent Team(APT) to analyze, design, implement and support Enterprise Analytics and Reporting solutions in various Finance enterprise data domains that enables Intel to make better business decisions by using data analysis techniques such as ad hoc database queries, scripting, mathematics, and statistics, including evaluating implemented data systems for variances, discrepancies, and efficiency, by leveraging technical expertise in cloud platforms including Azure, Snowflake, SAP HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud etc. to Keep Intel Legal through accurate and on-time data insights for biz success.Your primary responsibilities encompass serving as a technical liaison between the business and technical teams, gathering business requirements, decomposing them into data and technical requirements, including data modelling and data flows to other systems and relays feedback to developers. Evaluates master and/or transaction data systems such as SAS, SAP, etc. in the performance of data fit gap analysis and risk assessments. You will also need to work closely with data architecture, data platform and data security teams to implement analytics and reporting solutions. This also include providing input into the establishment of data standards, guidelines, procedures, and other infrastructure necessary to support data integration.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate needs to be:
- BA/BS/MS degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline
- Essential technical skills required mastery of SQL and Python Programming, Advance Excel, Data Manipulation and Analysis, Data Visualization, and Microsoft Office tool proficiency
- Strong data analysis and troubleshooting skills
- Having in-depth understanding of MS Azure Data Fundamentals, Databricks, Snowflakes data warehousing is crucial.
- Exposure to SAP ERP, HANA, S/4, BW, BOBJ, and SAC is a bonus.
- Prior experience in Business Intelligence and Enterprise Reporting development and support is beneficial
- Fundamental understanding of AI learning models, ML Ops for predictive and prescriptive analytics is good to have.
- Knowledge of Finance and Supply Chain business processes and enterprise data acumen is added advantage.
- Familiar with Agile SCRUM methodologies and practices.
Soft Skills Requirement:
- Strong qualitative and business process skills, with a focus on technical requirements and complex problem solving
- Strong communication skills with the ability to handle front-line user requirements and work constructively with a geographically dispersed, international biz stakeholders and IT partners
- Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (both verbal and written)
- Ability to work with minimal supervision to research, plan, multitask and execute tasks per priority with sense of urgency and accountability.
- Strong team player with collaborative mindset and able to adapt well with constant changing environments
