IT Construction Project Engineer
Job Description
The IT Infrastructure Construction Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and deploying the IT Infrastructure using the latest defined designs available in construction projects.
Responsibilities include: managing design, construction, and startup Information Technology systems in semiconductor facilities.
The ideal candidate will coordinate multiple projects effectively directing the activities of others. This includes taking various levels of responsibility for and participation in the development of project scopes, budgets, and schedules. The engineer will lead the work group during construction including general contractor management, stakeholder management, vendor management, working closely with Single Points of Contact, Principal Engineers, and Architectural and Engineering teams . The engineer will develop telecommunications design concept for information technology systems, and detailed scope documents to support estimators needs. Providing technical and constructability input to design reviews, schedule developments, and cost challenges. Monitor, track, influence, and manage from design process through construction to Operational/Functional Acceptance Testing (OATs / FATs). The engineer will ensure compliance and quality to specifications and installation and confirm work is being performed to Intel's policies and expectations. The candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The candidate should also have excellent leadership skills, show proven initiative, be self-sufficient, able to work well with various levels of management, be an effective team player at all levels of the organization and be skilled in working across multi-cultural and regional boundaries. Must have strong analytical skills.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science or other related Engineering degree and 4+ years of experience -OR- a Master's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science or other related Engineering degree and 3+ years of experience -OR- a PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science or other related Engineering degree and 1+ year of experience in:
IT Infrastructure construction experience
Project management skills including resource tracking and allocation, budget management, schedule development, complex problem solving, cross-discipline coordination and documentation.
Cable-plant, network/telecom, server standards and IT processes.

PMI PMPRCDD CISCO CCNA Corning Certification
Systimax Certification
