Custom Silicon Power and Performance Engineering Lead

We are seeking a highly qualified candidate to lead our Power and Performance team within a dynamic and forward-thinking organization. Our team is at the forefront of developing customer-led, cutting-edge technologies that drive the future of semiconductor product development. As a Power and Performance Engineering Lead, you will be casting a vision for as well as executing on Power and Performance analysis and projections within this new product space. You will be responsible for leveraging industry flows and methodologies to effectively and accurately project implications of architectural decisions and physical design. This opportunity will combine your technical knowledge of SOC and System-level Architecture, Workloads, Modelling, and other adjacent skills to understand implications and drive direction across this newly forming team. Responsibilities
Technical leader setting a clear, foundational direction who serves as a role model for building a high-performance team
Building and leveraging power estimation models and tools to assess and drive silicon definition
Drive pathfinding, model definition, and implementation for SOC and IP Performance Models with emphasis on both internal and ecosystem CPU, Fabric, I/O, and memory technologies
Work with partners (internal and/or external) to enable effective cost/benefit analysis and associated decision making
As a member of the leadership team, you will need to collaborate across multiple disciplines and organizations to effectively influence product direction.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent field with 10+ years of experience.
Combined 8+ years Power Architecture and/or Analysis, Performance Modeling experience, Performance Projection experience, or SoC or IP Design/Architecture.
Your experience must include multiple of the following:
Deep understanding of processors, servers, system software architecture, and associated Power and Performance modelling techniques
Knowledge of infrastructure and tools to support workload creation
Experience with Performance Model design, development and usage
Experience with performance monitors/simulators used for modern processor and SoC architectures
Experience with Power Analysis tools
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years Power and Performance Analysis and Projections focus a plus
Detailed SoC Architecture, SoC Subsystem Architecture, IP Architecture and/or Microarchitecture knowledge
Software development in SystemC, C, C++, Python and/or Domian Specific Language modeling
Strong knowledge of System Software a plus
