You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Develops and drives end-to-end platform architecture by driving technical analysis and owning the architectural requirements end to end.
- Translates requirements, key performance, and key experience indicators into platform architecture encompassing hardware, software, platform ingredients designed to support a variety of systems, solutions, and applications.
- Drives technical readiness of SW and HW platform architecture, and specifies key components, as needed, to meet platform requirements.
- Invents, conceptualizes, and specifies architectural features for next generation platforms and makes product technology and platform tradeoff decisions ensuring platforms conform to standards, specifications, and landing zones.
- Reviews, influences and manages platform requirements throughout the complete platform life cycle.
- Collaborates with other architects, design engineers, and validation engineers to improve the overall design of platform and overcome constraints.
A successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively, lead teams and influence across organizations
- Exceptional technical leadership skills and technical expertise in solving complex problems at the HW and SW ingredient and platform level, leveraging internal technical resources as well as external partners
- Willingness to roll up their sleeves and experiment with technologies, prove out concepts, test performance, evaluate competitive solutions and identify advantages, limitations and gaps.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Successful candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related engineering field of study.
- 7+ years of diverse architecture, design, verification, and implementation experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Master's Degree or PhD is preferred.
- 10+ years of diverse architecture, design, verification, and implementation experience.
- Experience driving cross-org, matrixed team members to meet and exceed established objectives, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
