Lab Engineer
Job Description
Drives lab systems engineering including the development of solutions to improve lab quality, compliance, and throughput.
Drives monitoring, record keeping, and reporting for lab equipment including maintenance, service, calibration, and testing activities.
Creates and develops test plans for new features on each product and recommends improvements to enable automated scripting for testing and archiving of results. Drives lab execution including engineering analysis, instrumentation, data analysis, and result reporting.
Resolves reported bugs and root causes issues that could impact product quality and experience.
Develops plans and cost estimates based on requirements and assesses projects to analyze risks and rewards, drive procurement of equipment and other lab materials, and development of lab infrastructure.
Ensures lab preparedness including bench setup, procurement of test equipment and other lab materials, and infrastructure requirements.
Collaborates with functional teams such as IT, security, and facilities to maintain a successful lab. Develops and coordinates the design, development, and implementation of new ideas, process, and systems for lab improvements needed to meet program deliverables.
As a Lab Engineer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
A fundamental understanding of hardware debugging utilizing schematics and various types of test equipment, to include Oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeters, etc.
Candidate will have a basic knowledge of Laboratory Infrastructure requirements.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Education Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 2+ years of work experience OR
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Minimum Qualification
2+ years of experience in:
Building up and maintaining client systems
Configuring BIOS
Upgrading Firmware
Driver Installs
Conducting Independently debugs on cards, boards, and systems
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience creating/modifying training and processes documentation and execution plans for these and other tasks.
Experience or relevant knowledge with Inventory Management Experience or relevant knowledge with shipping / receiving logistics
Experience in removing/installing /troubleshooting server baseboards, CPU's, DIMM's, and storage devices
Experience with OS installations
