DMTM HVM TF CVD Engineer

Job Description

Intel Dalian Memory Technology and Manufacturing (DMTM) is high-volume manufacturing memory fab in Intel China working on leading edge 3D NAND product. Intel and SK Hynix have an agreement for SK Hynix to acquire Intel's NAND memory and storage business. and Intel will continue to manufacture NAND wafers at the Dalian memory manufacturing until the final closing expected to occur in March 2025. Intel DMTM will continue to build on the success of our NAND technology at a greater scale, play a larger role in supporting our customers. Sr. Process Engineers for thin film, develop and sustain processes of thin film deposition in semiconductor fab manufacturing operations. Plans and implements capacity, and operational improvements to maximize output while improving the safety and quality of operations. As module owner, conducts tests and measurements of their operations to determine control over critical dimensions and defectivity of the process line. Recommends and implements modifications for operating the equipment in order to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques and optimizing production output for existing products. Establishes and submits processing requirements to be met in designing and acquiring processing equipment. Exercise independent judgement and discretion by making recommendations and adjusting tools and processes reactively when something has changed on the line or proactively in order to maximize output. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.

Qualifications

Must hold minimum of BS degree in engineering material science physics or chemistry.
Mastery of principles and working knowledge of various thin film CVD deposition processes and equipment including Novellus and AMAT tool
In-depth understanding and familiarity of various CVD thin film material properties and thin film characterization techniques
Understanding and working knowledge of Statistical Process Control SPC and/or Design of Experiments DOE able to use software such as JMP excel to run data analysis
Ability to design execute and analyze experiments to screen and optimize various CVD processes and equipment to meet technology performance yield and reliability and manufacturing process stability cost of ownership capacity improvement targets
Must be willing to learn and work in a dynamic fast paced environment
