Manufacturing Automation (MA) systems at Intel are designed with capability and reliability in mind, as they support the 7x24 operations of the global factory network.
Our Platforms engineers operate in the MA Compute Client and Storage (MCCS) service in the Infrastructure and Data Engineering organization. This team supports, installs, tests, and configures a host of Windows, UNIX and Virtual Machines VMs, plus storage and cloud hosting environments for huge amounts of critical factory data.
This role is required to enable Infra Operation Modernization solution to make Infra Operation to be more robust/modernized by carrying out coding/scripting or enhancement or transforming Infra Operation with AL/ML solution.
They utilize predictive analysis and automated monitoring to advance troubleshooting on issues using Model Based Problem Solving MBPS methodologies.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Applied Science, or related field.
- Good technical knowledge in computing infrastructure components, security, data centers, and systems support. Example: Microsoft Windows Server administration, UNIX & LINUX administration, Active Directory, clustering, Virtual Machine admin or web administration.
- Good knowledge of SAN & NAS storage platforms (EMC VMAX, EMC PowerMax, HP 3PAR, NetApp and NetApp SnapVault)
- Good knowledge of Cloud Technologies: Docker, Container, Kubernetes, Rancher, Object Storage, Software defined Storage.
- Good understanding of network technologies & IP stack (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls, etc.)
- Scripting/coding experience on a variety of platforms (C#, PowerShell, JavaScript, VBScript, Python, Bash, Power BI, Ansible, BigFix, etc.)
- Some knowledge with big data tools: Spark, Kafka, Elastic Search, etc.
- Project management and Agile skills to ensure committed programs are executed to schedule.
- Understanding of Agile frameworks
