IT Quality Assurance Lead
Job Description
Join SCIT as an IT Quality Assurance Lead, the Lead drives software quality from concept to delivery via specific KPIs and quality targets. Works with product development teams throughout development phases to ensure software quality requirements and goals are established and met to determine release readiness and risks.
Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Analyzes product quality data and drives improvements through defect prediction models, requirements traceability, and STLC optimizations.
- Improves customer experience with critical issue management, throughput time, root cause analysis, and software practices assessments.
- Drive the software quality assurance lifecycle within the Agile process.
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance procedures and protocols to ensure product/service quality and compliance with standards.
- Lead all phases of testing, from unit to user acceptance testing on the IT front for Supply Chain Planning projects.
- Establish and coordinate test strategies with development/product teams.
- Coordinate and execute quality assurance activities, including functional and performance test execution, analysis, defect tracking, and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify quality issues, root causes, and corrective/preventive actions.
- Maintain documentation of quality assurance processes, procedures, and test results.
- Continuously improve quality metrics reporting (pass-rates, regressions charts, etc.)
- Communicate the status of testing initiatives to the stakeholder groups and lead triage meetings.
- Work with product owners and project leads to triage and prioritize issues for resolution.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of experience -OR- a Master's Degree and 4+ years of experience in:
- Requirements gathering, systems/business analysis, process mapping, solution acceptance testing, and deployment.
- Drafting test deliverables like Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Data, and Traceability Matrix.
- Product development life cycle and test cycles (e.g. unit, integration, smoke), including test approach and case review.
- Software QA methodologies and tools.
- Test management tools (e.g. JIRA, Quality Center).
This position is eligible for Intel Immigration sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Supply and Demand planning process knowledge in the Semiconductor industry or high-tech industry.
- Practicing Agile methodologies.
- Experience driving Quality Solutions in Snowflake, Azure Databricks, or similar environments.
- Reporting QA metrics in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.

Working Model
This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.Posting End Date
