Platform and Customer Enabling Engineer
Job Description
*Provides technical support for solutions that incorporate one or more Intel products and technologies, drives solution design ensuring time-to-market readiness, transforms opportunities to design and production wins, and enables ecosystem and industry partners for platform solution readiness.
*Develops and implements product design, development, and validation tools and provides technical and issue resolution support during development, testing, and production.
*Evaluates, designs, and develops new software and hardware fixtures and utilizes tools during project deployment to validate and optimize product quality and performance.
*Creates product specifications, hardware design guides, application notes, and other supporting technical collateral.
*Collaborates and enables internal and external silicon, hardware, and software teams to deliver latest products in the market.
*Partners with customer Research and Development and manufacturing to ensure smooth product ramp through integrating customer DFx requirements, mitigating customer factory challenges, delivering product training, and providing health oversight with rapid technical support and systematic improvement action.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
*Candidates must possess a degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline with multiple years' experience in IA development, design, validation, test or customer technical support.
*Successful candidates have broad technical ability across hardware and software in IA Computer System and possess excellent communications skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
*Understanding of x86 Boot Process, BIOS, UEFI, Boot Loader components and hands-on debug on PC/Server platform power on failure using debug tools such as oscilloscope, logic analyzer and other debug tools etc.
*Practical understanding of high speed board design and hardware circuit, knowledge on signal integrity and power delivery of IA platform, hands-on debug on PC platform including functional testing and high speed electrical interface validation and debug such as PCIe, DDR5x, Ethernet and other PC/Server interfaces etc
*Ability to analyze schematic and PCB board with CAD tool
*Familiar with Linux OS and Windows OS environment debug.
Hands-on in PC/Server technology enabling, virtualization, storage, networking, platform security, network security and demo Intel products technologies capabilities, enable adoption in customer products use case and enable eco system HW/SW ingredients.
*Demonstrated ability to listen, understand and respond professionally to customers including strong technical writing and presentation skills.
*Fast self-learner, work independently, be proactive, multitask effectively and exhibit good influencing skills with strong customer orientation and willingness and ability to travel occasionally.
