This position is associated to that standalone business strategy and is expected to fully transition to a standalone company at some time in the future with an anticipated target of Jan 1, 2025.

As we continue to expand our global operations, we are seeking a highly skilled and strategic join our Information Technology team as an IT Engineer supporting our hardware and software developers.
As a member of the global IT team, you will play a pivotal role in transforming PSG to operate as a standalone business. As an IT Engineer you will be responsible for working with the global engineering teams to enable their development efforts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to hardware and software engineering teams for hardware, software, and infrastructure issues.
Install, configure, and maintain development tools, design software, and simulation environments used by HW engineers and SW developers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address IT needs and requirements specific to HW and SW engineering projects.
Manage version control systems, code repositories, and collaboration tools used by engineering teams to ensure efficient code management and collaboration.
Monitor and administer server infrastructure, compute clusters, and high-performance computing (HPC) resources used for HW design and SW development including forecast and demand management.
To establish and deploy high performance farm compute optimization strategy to maximize utilization of compute resource with priority management.
Implement and enforce IT security policies, best practices, and compliance requirements to protect sensitive engineering data and intellectual property.
Plan and execute software deployments, updates, and patches for development tools and design software in coordination with engineering schedules and requirements.
To establish and deploy high performance farm compute optimization strategy to maximize utilization of compute resource with priority management.
Monitor and administer server infrastructure, compute clusters, and high-performance computing (HPC) resources used for HW design and SW development including forecast and demand management.
Develop and maintain documentation, tutorials, and training materials to support HW and SW engineering teams in utilizing IT systems and tools effectively.
Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance the productivity, efficiency, and innovation capabilities of HW and SW engineering teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, preferably in a role supporting HW design or software engineering teams.
Strong technical skills in operating systems (Windows, Linux), networking, virtualization, and high-performance computing (HPC) environments.
Experience and understand compute resource profile and execution cadence of hardware design workflow with EDA tools (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys)
Familiarity with software and hardware development tools and methodologies (e.g., Git, Agile, CI/CD) is a plus.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are a plus.
