Job Description
In Q4 2023, Intel announced Altera will be reported as a separate business unit beginning on January 1, 2024, with ongoing support from Intel. This position is associated to that standalone business strategy and is expected to fully transition to a standalone company at some time in the future.

As we transition the Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) into a standalone business by January 1, 2025, we seek a visionary IT Senior Manager, Web & Marketing Technologies. This role is pivotal in shaping our digital future and driving our global operations forward.
The IT Senior Manager, Web & Marketing Technologies will oversee and manage our web technology stack, ensuring it aligns with business goals and technical needs. This strategic role requires a deep understanding of web technologies, a passion for innovation, and a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
IT Senior Manager, Web & Marketing Technologies responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategy:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive web technology strategy aligned with company goals.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse global IT team, including developers, designers, and architects.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to keep our web platforms cutting-edge.
Project Management:
- Oversee the implementation of corporate web pages and portals, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Create and manage project plans, timelines, and status reports.
- Ensure transparent communication of project progress and issues to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business and design agency teams for seamless integration with backend systems and content management platforms.
Technical Expertise:
- Provide technical guidance in web technologies, including front-end and back-end development, web architecture, and cloud services.
- Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of web applications.
- Drive continuous improvement in code quality, development processes, and deployment practices.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Serve as the primary contact between business teams, developers, agencies, and IT teams.
- Work closely with business leaders, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate needs into technical solutions.
- Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of web initiatives.
Security and Performance:
- Collaborate with IT SI to deliver on key areas such as security, performance optimization, infrastructure management, and system integrations.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks and risk management practices.
Qualifications
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/BS with 9+ years of experience or Master’s Degree with 6+ years of experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a STEM-related field.
- 9+ years of experience in application development, with at least 6 years in web technologies.
- 5+ years of experience in managing vendors, content providers, and business stakeholders.
- 5+ years of experience leading and managing a diverse and global IT team.
- 5+ years of experience implementing innovative technology solutions that drive business value.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of semiconductor industry processes and business requirements.
- Good understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and risk management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
- Mergers and Acquisitions knowledge
