Global Senior Manager Corporate Security/Assistant FSO
Job Description
In Q4 2023, Intel announced PSG will be reported as a separate business unit beginning on January 1, 2024 with ongoing support from Intel. This position is associated to that standalone business strategy and is expected to fully transition to a standalone company at some time in the future.
This role will be responsible for management of the Enterprise Security Risk Management Program for Altera®, under the direction of the Head of Security and in alignment with the business goals as defined by executive leadership. You will provide daily management of the worldwide physical security function to ensure that security policies, procedures and training are in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
As a Global Senior Manager Corporate Security/Assistant FSO, your primary responsibilities include:
• Management of enterprise-wide corporate physical security, investigations, threat monitoring, risk assessment and adherence to the requirements of 32 CFR Part 117, the NISPOM Rule.
• Establish a program to meet the requirements of 32 CFR Part 117, the NISPOM Rule.
• Lead the security operations functions including physical security, access control, surveillance, and escalation management. Ensure the protection of employees, visitors, customers, and assets, including intellectual property.
• Develop and implement comprehensive physical security strategies aligned with the (company's) goals and objectives.
• Oversee the maturation of existing programs, manage to a multi-year outlook, standardization of systems, policy documentation and the support of future growth.
• Partner closely with other business units and Enterprise Risk Management to identify potential concerns and facilitate controls management to mitigate physical security risk.
• Evaluate security technology and processes, recommending changes as needed to maintain alignment with industry standards/trends, enhance security measures, utilize automation, and encourage process efficiency and digitization.
• Support business partners in Engineering, Legal, IT, Trade Compliance and Operations to resolve escalated situations and assess cross-department initiatives to mitigate risk.
• Develop and grow the Enterprise Security Risk Management team.
• Assist with the development of a multi-year business strategy around physical security and the requirements of the National Industrial Security Program.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and other security agencies as necessary and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Ensure that all certifications are kept current and pursue additional certifications as necessary to stay up to date on industry trends and advancements. Participate in training programs, workshops, and seminars to strengthen competencies and contribute to the overall success of the team (company).
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or other related field with 9+ years of experience OR equivalent work experience.
- Related years of experience should be one or more of the following: corporate security, law enforcement, relevant military, corporate security and safety, physical security, security systems, technologies, and best practices.
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role.
- US citizenship required
This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous military or law enforcement experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of C-TPAT, ITAR, EAR and CUI requirements.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) are a plus.
- Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft Suite.
- Ability to assess team members to identify development needs, strengths/talent potential, build development action plans, mentor, and coach team members to attain potential.
