Channel Finance CoE Analyst
Job Description
The Channel Finance Center of Excellence (COE) is an organization within Corporate Accounting Office which supports Intel worldwide distributors revenue and rebates reporting. Key Responsibilities include but are not be limited to: - Supports end to end finance service including distributor reporting, distributors price authorization (DPA) rebates processing, inventory reconciliations and financial reporting. Those data are the basis for Intel's channel revenue recognition, incentives calculations and business decision-making. - Performs channel revenue financial close in compliance with revenue accounting standards and policies. - Quarterly revenue reporting, SOX controls executions as well as business analytics and fluctuation analysis - Collaborations with internal and external auditors in meeting the 10Q/10K revenue close deliverables. - Supports financial analysis and provides risk assessment towards new business initiatives in the dynamic business environment - Provides finance and contra revenue expertise to identify, evaluate, analyse and develop systems/ power BI dashboard and procedures to promote efficiency. - The scope will grow as we look to further build the capability and skillset with further transformative efforts towards the new Enterprise Resource Planning system.Qualifications
Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting. A professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred. - At least 3 years of related work experience. - Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in financial reporting. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. - Financial analysis for decision quality involves independently developing solutions to moderately complex problems and integrating multiple data sources to make a recommendation. - Demonstrates an increasing knowledge of Intel's business acumen to identify trends and opportunities for business flux write-ups, which helps connect Intel's strategy and results across various functional areas to the operations of the business group. - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin, with the ability to explain complex financial data to management and non-financial stakeholders. - Data analytics, Power BI, KNIME, SAP, Vistex experiences will be added advantages. Preferred Qualifications: - Ability to deal with ambiguity to perform in an evolving dynamic business space. - Experience with risk management and controls. - Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of business processes and their interrelationships to provide business insights.Inside this Business Group
