Job Description
The CSV/Intel Automotive (IA) Business Unit is leading the way to transform the way we move, work, and live by leading the definition, development, and delivery of commercial and consumer solutions across automotive, automated transportation and infrastructure markets like ADAS, Connected Mobility, Software Defined Vehicle. We're a strong, vibrant, and agile global team responsible for developing a variety of comprehensive HW and SW solutions for products desired by our customers and markets. In the role of a Software System Architect for Automotive Programs, you will be defining end-to-end architecture solutions encompassing cutting edge technologies from end devices, to edge server and cloud, leveraging the Intel portfolio. You need to have hands-on development experience to be able to work directly on Proof-Of-Concepts and Technology Readiness activities together with the ability to provide guidance to developers involved on the same activities. You will have the opportunity to work with various teams inside Intel Automotive and across Intel to shape the future of Mobility
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience in defining software architectures comprising open-source and proprietary software components and technologies
- Software development experience with C/C++
- Knowledge about AI techniques
- Knowledge about Cloud services
- 10+ years of experience in software development in Linux environments
- 5+ years of experience in Software Architecture
- BE / BTech / M.S / MTech in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field of study
- Proven leadership, team building, excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills. Working across geos.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with architecture modeling (e.g. UML or SysML with Rhapsody or Enterprise Architect or Promark ) and producing software architecture specifications
- Experience with Android
- Experience with Hypervisor based architecture
- Experience with container management and orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes K8s, K3s) for software application lifecycle management
- Cloud native SW application development (e.g. AWS, Azure)
- Experience with Computer Vision frameworks (e.g. OpenCV)
- Experience with Machine Learning frameworks (e.g. OpenVino, Tensorflow, Scikit-Learn)
- Development experience / skills in Rust, Python
- Experience with software product life cycle, and agile methodologies
- Ability to work with distributed teams, in different time zones

Corporate Strategy Office is chartered to support the executive office in driving corporate initiatives, including near and long-term strategy, major cross-group decision making and ensuring cross-company alignment. To deliver to that mission, the team owns shaping, driving and synthesizing insights to directionally orient trends as well as long range strategic planning/visioning , cross company alignment and greenfield innovation. Communications are essential to drive alignment so there is a focus on communications, community and acumen development.
