Join Intel Costa Rica's Chipsets Design Team as a SOC Design Engineer Student Worker!
Are you a university student passionate about digital design and eager to make an impact? Come and be a part of our Chipsets design team at Intel Costa Rica. Help us design the latest SoC products for all Intel platforms and gain invaluable experience in the field.
What You'll Do:
Become a front-end design engineer, integrating functional blocks into the full chip design, and verifying its correct functionality.
Engage in innovative problem-solving and collaborate with specialist teams and engineers across various domains, including full-chip, micro-architecture, validation architecture, emulation modeling and validation, IP design, structural design, and platform architecture.
Participate in design debug at various levels of product development.
What We're Looking For:
University students (bachelor, licentiate, or Master) in their final years of an engineering degree in Electric, Electronic, Computer, or similar fields.
Exposure to digital design and a strong willingness to learn fast and work in a team.
Good communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Flexibility and a hybrid work model are supported.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor degree in Electronic, Electrical, Mechatronic engineer, computer science, or related field of study
Intermediate English Level
6+ month experience in VLSI (Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, and/or work experience)
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge in any of the next areas is a plus:
System Verilog / OOP, OVM/UVM.IP-level design and/or verification.
SOC-level design/integration and/or validation.
RTL quality checks.
Simulation-based debug (VCS, Verdi, DVE).
Computer (CPU) and/or System (Platform) Architecture.
Emulation at SoC and/or Platform level.
Firmware and/or boot development/debug.
Python programming.
Front-end Design TFMs (Tools, Flows, and Methodologies).
